Uni gets Up Close in radio podcasts[ Research Review 0307 ] The University of Melbourne has launched ‘Melbourne University Up Close’, a fortnightly talk show delivered on podcast, showcasing the research personalities and cultural offerings of the University. The first episode, which went online 6 October 2006, examined the topic of Contemporary Islam in Australia with Professor Abdullah Saeed, Sultan of Oman Professor of Arab and Islamic Studies at the University’s Asia Institute, and Director of the Centre for the Study of Contemporary Islam.
