[ Goulburn Valley UniNews Vol. 3, No. 1
May 2006 ]
Are you interested in farming and environmental history?
Has your family been in the Goulburn Valley for a long time?
Was your family on a selection or soldier settlement block?
Do you have rainfall records that go back a long way?
Do you have farm records that recall yields from year to year?
Do you have old photos of work from your farm?
Are you interested in telling your family stories about working the land in the Goulburn Valley?
A history of the Goulburn Valley as a man-made, rural environment is being developed for a science and citizenship history project.
Anyone who would like to learn more about the project or provide information for the data collection phase, can contact Robin Landvogt at the University of Melbourne’s Goulburn Valley Office, 21 Nixon Street, Shepparton, on 03 5823 6600 or via email, robinl@unimelb.edu.au
