The University of Melbourne website www.yoursexhealth.org has won Best in Class in the New York-based Interactive Media Council’s 2007 Interactive Media Awards (Education Category).

Melbourne’s sex education/reproductive health website, aimed at adolescents, was initiated by Key Centre for Women’s Health in Society Director Professor Doreen Rosenthal. The site was rated 485 points out of a possible 500 overall, including 99 out of 100 for design and 98 for content. Although not marketed overseas www.yoursexhealth.org (launched January 2007) attracts thousands of international visitors.
