Going for gold at national championships

Melbourne University Athletics Club (MUAC) sprinter and third year Physiotherapy student Katherine Clarke has her eye on a medal at the Australian Athletics Championships later this month (28 February–1 March).

After winning the U/23 400 metre Victorian Championship earlier in January, Clarke has continued to show improvement on the training track and will travel to the championships in Queensland in great shape.

MUAC members Sophie Barker (third year Arts/Science) and Rosie Hooper are also currently ranked second in Australia in the 3000 metre Steeplechase and Javelin respectively.
